My practice ranges from strongly medium-driven to highly structured, often with a central thru-line of embedded and abstracted imagery in a mix of automatic and very deliberate features. I like to create my artwork often in a blend of impulsiveness and a sort of intentional plausible deniability through abstraction, taking inspiration from a fascination with political abstraction in art, cryptography, and art forensics.
Process
I work across digital and traditional media. Ideation begins in sketchbooks, moving to digital explorations for color and composition, then back to physical materials for texture and unpredictability.
